• Mick Martin answers my TV unmeme with a vengeance. Mick: I agree with you about virtually everything except The X-Files, but I think we've discussed this in person. I prefer the mythology episodes, except at the point where it became clear Chris Carter was totally making it up as he went along, at which point I started to hate his fucking guts. Damn you, Chris Carter! Anyway, yeah, that show could have easily continued without Mulder and Scully, and indeed, should have, but John Doggett and his Fake Accent were not the direction in which to go.


• 24 years ago I started buying my comics at FantaCo in Albany, New York. Roger Green was one of the guys who took my money and handed me funnybooks every week. Roger Green has a blog now (and a 13-month old, congrats, Roger! Hope she gets well soon). I can't tell you how cool it is that Roger has a blog. Even cooler, he will be at Earthworld today for Free Comic Book Day, and hey, so will I! I haven't see Roger since sometime probably in the first Reagan administration, but I think I'd still recognize him. Read his post about FantaCo and funnybooks. And thanks to the always-amazing Fred Hembeck for spotting Roger's blog and telling the world.


• Here's The Bunny Blog (not work safe, kids!). I don't know if this is for real or comes from the twisted imagination of Tucker Max, but either way, it's riveting writing (as is Max's site). Thanks to Chris Allen for pointing me to this one.
